Are you interested in volunteering at the school?

Hanover-Horton Elementary is looking for volunteers to read with children on Tuesday mornings from 9:00 a.m. – 9:45 a.m. or Thursday afternoons from 2:45 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. Reading with children engages them in storytelling, opens their mind, and unlocks their imagination. It is a great way for volunteers to support literacy development. As a child grows, reading becomes increasingly important for understanding the world.

Volunteers are simply asked to listen to children read. No previous experience working with children is necessary and all books/materials are supplied at school.
