The Comets volleyball team played Vandercook Lake Tuesday night with all of the proceeds of the game going to Cures For Cancer foundation. The night made more than $2,400 to help find a cure for cancer.

The Jayhawks won a tight first game 28-26. The Jayhawks won game two 25-14 and game 3 25-16. This puts the Comets conference record at 3-3 with a visit to napoleon coming next Tuesday. The team will be in action this Saturday also as they participate in the Perry Invitational.

JV Volleyball: The Comets hosted Vandercook Lake for the Cures for Cancer game (all proceeds from the game go to the Cures For Cancer Foundation). Hanover-Horton won the first game 25-21. The Jayhawks came from behind to win game 2 25-23. the third game was back and forth until the Jayhawks pulled it out 15-12.The Comets JV team returns to action for the final time next Tuesday at Napoleon.
