The Board of Education approved offering the teachers at the top of the pay scale a Voluntary Severance Plan (VSP) if the teacher would like to take advantage of it. The creation of this opportunity to participate in this Plan is intended by the parties to act as a benefit and opportunity for those eligible Association bargaining unit members who elect to voluntarily resign from Hanover-Horton School District. The VSP offer has a forty-five (45) day review period which begins on Monday, April 24, 2017.
Chuck Dumas from MASB conducted the board member training in the new Superintendent Evaluation Instrument. This training is required by the State.
