Successful Take a Mitten, Give a Hand Project
The National Junior Honor Society recently completed their “Take a Mitten, Give a Hand” service project. Middle-school students were invited to take a paper mitten with the name of a hygienic product written on it, and then bring the item back to school. All items were turned into welcome bags for the AWARE shelter in Jackson. Students collected enough products for 18 welcome bags, as well as some additional items to help stock the shelter’s shelves. Hanover-Horton students are generous givers!
