50th Hanover-Horton Homecoming
Here is a slide show from the 50th homecoming:
Dear Community Member,
It’s been a couple of weeks since our 50th anniversary celebration and I am still hearing comments about how much people enjoyed themselves. Whether you were part of the planning committee, helped with tours of the building, helped work on identifying our alumni, made signs, decorated the field, led the band, supervised the cheerleaders or helped with the parade; the event involved a lot of individuals that helped contribute their time and effort to the cause. We know that this district is a great place to learn and work and this celebration reflected our success. For many of our alumni it was their first opportunity to see our athletic complex or tour our building. They were extremely complimentary of the work that all of you participated in throughout the past few months.
Thank you so much for your involvement in this project. I am so pleased to be involved in a district with the history and pride that Hanover-Horton has established in our county.
While we didn’t win the football game, the sprit of the Comets was visible everywhere at our homecoming. We appreciate the hard work that was involved in this event. Thank you again for the part that you played in this process.
Go Comets!
Sincerely,
Linda Brian
