The Lady Comets came out to a sluggish start in the first half of Mondays game against Hillsdale. After trailing 18-15 at half they were able to find a spark and take the lead early in the 3rd quarter. With defensive pressure turned up along with outstanding ball movement they were able to push to a 44-27 victory. The Comets were led by Brinna Melling with 14 points, Haileigh Powell with 12 (including 9 straight in the 3rd) and Gwynne Demeuse with 3 points 7 Rebounds and 8 assists.
The JV also won with the score of 43-28 putting together a complete game. They were led by Emily Watkins with 19 points.

The Comets will travel to Grass Lake this Friday for their Cascades conference opener against the lady warriors. Come out and show your support.
