The Lady Comets defeated Addison tonight in a very exciting match 25-16, 21-25, 26-24 and 25-23. Mara Thompson had 5 aces serving while Elle Redman added 4. Mindi Walker served 100%. Strong hitters for the night were Mikaylah Duffield with 16 kills while Mindi Walker added 10.

Elle Redman had 32 assists and Kenadee Krage had 12. The varsity team travels to Spring Arbor University on Saturday for tournament play and to Michigan Center next Tuesday.

The Comets JV Volleyball team defeated Addison Tuesday by the scores of 25-11 and 25-18.

The varsity volleyball team defeated East Jackson at home 25-19, 25-16, 25-19. Elle Redman was the top server with 19 total. Ella Cure served 13 of 13 with 3 aces and Mikaylah Duffield added 2 aces with her 10 for 10 serving. Mare Thompson had 16 hits with 11 kill, Mikaylah Duffield had 15 hits with 8 kills while Mindi Walker and Londyn Williams each added 4 more kills for the team.

The varsity team hosts Concord and Homer at 5:00 Wednesday night starting at 5:00. Go Comets!

The varsity volleyball team hosted a tri match against Jonesville and Hudson. The Lady Comets lost to Jonesville in a tough match 21-25, 25-12, 15-17. Mikaylah Duffield served 19 with 4 aces while Elle Redman served 14 with 2 aces. Mara Thompson hit 19 with 12 kills and Mindi Walker added 9 hits with 5 kills. Elle Redman had 15 assists and Kenadee Krage had 7.

The Lady Comets went on to defeat Hudson 25-19, 25-17. Mikaylah Duffield was the leading hitter for the match with 18 hits and 6 kills. Mara Thompson added 15 hits with 8 kills and Mindi Walker added 9 hits with 4 kills. Elle Redman had 14 assists and Kenadee Krage had 7.

The next match is on Tuesday at home.

8th grade Lady Comets defeat Lenawee Christian 25-20, 25-17 & Concord Yellowjackets 25-18, 25-13 in their first tri-meet of the season! Nice work, ladies!

The 7 grade volleyball team opened their season last night in a tri meet at Lenawee Christian. Lady Comets came out strong in the first match to defeat Lenewee in two games with the scores of 25-14 and 25-22. The Comets continued their momentum into the second match against Concord, defeating the Yellowjackets in two games. Scores for this match were 25-19 and 25-14.

The Lady Comets lost a tough match to Grass Lake 23-25, 14-25 and 24-26. Kenadee Krage was 11 of 11 serving and had 20 assists. Mara Thompson had 18 hits with 9 kills. Elle Redman and Mikaylah Duffield each had 13 hits with 6 kills. They will host a Jonesville and Hudson for a tri on Thursday, Sept. 8th

The HH varsity team battled with Hillsdale and Clinton Schools in a tri match hosted by HH.
In the first match, HH defeated Hillsdale 22-25, 26-24, 16-14. Top hitters in this match were Mara Thompson with 11 attacks and 3 kills, Elle Redman with 10 attacks and 4 kills, and Mikaylah Duffield with 10 attacks and 5 kills. Kenadee Krage was the top server with 18 serves and 2 aces. Elle Redman also had 10 assists.

In the second match, HH defeated Clinton 19-25, 25-18 and 15-10. Mara Thompson had 19 attacks with 7 kills and Mikaylah Duffield had 12 attacks with 7 kills. Elle Redman had 15 assists.

The Lady Comets will travel to Grass Lake on Tuesday for their first conference match of the season.

The varsity team hosted their first Tri meet where they started the night defeating Springport 18-25, 25-16, 15-13. Mara Thompson had 21 hits with 14 kills, Ella Cure had 8 hits with 4 kills. Elle Redman had 11 assists.

They played a tough match against Northwest but lost 15-25, 21-25. Mikaylah Duffield had 16 hits with 8 kills. Mara Thompson had 18 hits with 5 kills. Elle Redman had 11 assists.

The JV team defeated both Springport and Northwest in straight sets.
Both teams will host their next tri on Aug. 31 against Hillsdale and Clinton
